Umbraco is our content management system (CMS) of choice for web development. Umbraco offers a user-friendly and intuitive interface for content management, making it easy for our clients to manage and update their websites.
Umbraco is highly customisable, allowing us to create unique and bespoke solutions for our clients' specific needs. In addition, Umbraco has a strong and supportive community, with a range of plugins and extensions available to further enhance the functionality of the CMS. Compared to Wordpress, you'll find Umbraco is used for more custom websites, where security or extendability is important.

Headless content is when you separate your content from the actual website. This brings greater flexibility and scalability, as we can create custom front-end experiences that integrate with multiple platforms and devices.
Headless content is becoming increasingly popular, and there are many ways to implement this. It is possible to utilise older systems such as Wordpress in a headless way, and while there are dedicated headless content platforms available (such as Contentful), we personally prefer implementing a headless instance of Umbraco. Umbraco is far more feature-rich and cost-efficient compared to Wordpress and the more SaaS dedicated platforms.
Umbraco is our go-to content management system due to its extendability and reliability. Umbraco is usually better suited for websites with more complex requirements, but we can create and implement websites using Umbraco at all levels of complexity.
